Allen Chapel was recently featured in a Climate Reality Project national blog post.

Shenandoah Green received one of just 18 worldwide grants from the Climate Reality Project for its environmental community work, which featured plantings at Allen Chapel here in Staunton.

Upon hearing of this wonderful news, Rev. Edward Scott wrote,

“Allen Chapel is making news because others have enlisted her for holy purposes, like healing the earth. God knew what God was doing to give the earth trees for lungs . . . and what beautiful lungs they are! Thanks again Georgi for all you do for the planet we share and for asking us to be involved in your effort.”
